SUPPER CLUB (KS2) – Sausage Plait (Fri 30 Jan, 2-3pm)
Description
SUPPER CLUB is for KS2 children aged 7-11. It is a drop-off class from 2pm to 3pm with a smaller class size (max 6) and no craft activity. A more complex class for older children, Supper Club involves more weighing/prep, the likely use of small kitchen knives and other sharper equipment, and potentially some washing up/cleaning. It may also include higher-risk food items such as raw meat/fish for those who eat it (alternatives are always available) and is intended to provide a substantial part of your child’s evening meal – it will likely need to be cooked/baked at home after the class (or the following day if preferred).
This time we’ll be making a delicious Sausage Plait to bake at home. Perfect with some baked beans or other veg for their Friday night tea! Please pop in the comments when booking if you’d like them to make a vegetarian or plant-based version.
Overton Primary School closes at lunchtime on a Friday, allowing their children to join us at this time; however other children are very welcome too, including those on Exeat, Inset or Home-Ed. Afterschool sessions on a Monday at 4pm for a wider age range of children at other primary schools are also available.
Cost: £12.50 includes all the ingredients, materials, equipment and use of an apron – just bring a large tupperware to take your food home (don’t worry if you forget – we always have disposable packaging but try to work as sustainably as possible).
We can accommodate most allergies (depending on severity) but please contact katie@cookerydoodledoo.com before booking if there are any dietary requirements to discuss.
