MINI CHEFS is for KS1 children aged approx 5-7 (Year R now welcome).

Join us for a fun cookery and craft activity – this class is suitable for all primary school age children in KS1. Overton Primary School closes at lunchtime on a Friday, allowing their children to join us; however other children are very welcome too, including those on Exeat, Inset or Home-Ed. Please note this session accepts up to 8 at a time – the children can be dropped off at 2pm and collected at 3.15pm.

This time we’ll be making Pirate Ship Potatoes – cheesy twice-baked jacket potatoes stuffed with sweetcorn ‘dubloons’ and red pepper ‘rubies’, plus (optional) tuna to create mini fish pies. Once they’re in the oven we’ll take to the high seas with some pirate-themed crafting and a story about some very clever young Night Pirates!

Cost: £12.50 includes all the ingredients, materials, equipment and use of an apron – just bring a large tin or tupperware to take your bakes home (don’t worry if you forget – we always have disposable packaging but try to work as sustainably as possible). Please select ‘trial class’ to pay just £10 if this is your child’s first session.
