Description
AFTERSCHOOL CLUB is for all primary school children aged 5-11. On Fridays it is a drop-off class from 2pm to 3pm (due to early closure of a local school, but all are welcome)Â involving cooking and potentially some washing up and kitchen hygiene (no craft activity). Depending on the recipe, it will likely need to be cooked/baked at home after the class (or the following day if preferred). Specific activities may vary by age, with – for example – older children in KS2 potentially being permitted to use sharp knives and other equipment, whilst younger children will be given cutlery knives or assisted as necessary.
We’re pretty sure that when unicorns poo, it’s a rainbow colour! We’re making a simple baked fritter from blitzed sweetcorn and a rainbow of fillings – they’re a delicious side dish, lunch or snack – why not serve for tea alongside some sausages or nuggets? What sauce will you dip yours in?
Cost: £12.50 includes all the ingredients, materials, equipment and use of an apron – just bring a large tin or tupperware to take your bakes home (don’t worry if you forget – we always have disposable packaging but try to work as sustainably as possible). Please select ‘trial class’ to pay just £10 if this is your child’s first session.
We can accommodate most allergies (depending on severity) but please contact katie@cookerydoodledoo.com before booking if there are any dietary requirements to discuss.
