MINI CHEFS is for KS1 children aged 5-7 (no Year R until after Christmas please).

Join us for a fun cookery and craft activity – this class is suitable for all primary school age children in KS1. Overton Primary School closes at lunchtime on a Friday, allowing their children to join us; however other children are very welcome too, including those on Exeat, Inset or Home-Ed. Please note this session accepts up to 8 at a time – the children can be dropped off at 2pm and collected at 3.15pm.

Mince pies are a Christmas staple, but the deep-filled version are not always popular with little ones… so we’ve taken just a little bit of the classic mincemeat filling and sandwiched it between layers of crumbly sweet shortbread. Festive Fingers are a great twist on the classic, and just perfect with a cuppa or glass of milk – you could even leave one out for Santa for a change!

Cost: £12.50 includes all the ingredients, materials, equipment and use of an apron – just bring a large tupperware to take your bakes home (don’t worry if you forget – we always have disposable packaging but try to work as sustainably as possible).
