Join us for a fun cookery and craft activity. Suitable for preschool children aged 2 1/2 upwards, our small class sizes and welcoming kitchen will make you all feel right at home. Parents pour a hot drink and watch me get messy whilst caring for any little ones. Whilst our goodies bake, we make a themed craft, then enjoy a story as they cool. There’s usually just time for a quick taste before home-time too!

At this week’s baking class the children will be making Cheese and Pear Scones. They make such a delicious duo when baked together in this savoury scone recipe – as the Very Hungry Caterpillar would testify! These scones are the perfect snack served warm with butter or as weekend brunch treat; they freeze brilliantly for lunchbox emergencies too!

Cost: £12.00 includes all the ingredients, materials, equipment and use of an apron – just bring a large tupperware to take your bakes home (don’t worry if you forget – we always have disposable packaging but try to work as sustainably as possible). 2 or more siblings are £11 each, or please select ‘trial class’ to pay just £7.50 if this is your child’s first session.
