Join us for a fun cookery and craft activity. Suitable for children aged 2 1/2 upwards, our small class sizes and welcoming kitchen will make you all feel right at home. Parents pour a hot drink and watch me get messy whilst caring for any littler ones. Whilst our goodies bake, we make a themed craft, then enjoy a story as they cool. There’s usually time for a quick taste before home-time too!

Oggies are the traditional pasties that the Welsh miners would take underground for their lunch. Legend has it that lunchtime was announced by shouting “Oggie, Oggie Oggie!” down the shaft – the response (as you can probably guess) was “Oi Oi Oi!”. Golden puff pastry filled with potato, leek and Welsh cheese – yum!

Cost: £10.00 includes all the ingredients, materials, equipment and use of an apron – just bring a large tupperware to take your bakes home (don’t worry if you forget – we always have disposable packaging but try to work as sustainably as possible). 2 or more siblings are £9 each, or please select ‘trial class’ to pay just £5 if this is your child’s first session.
